Young players can try cricket in Roblox this summer and then take their game into a real HiTZ net.

The ECB Roblox Cricket World has added a new catching mini-game for the 2026 summer of cricket, giving cricket-curious players another way to test their skills in a fast, fun digital environment.

The new game sits alongside the existing 60-second batting challenge. In 60-second rounds, players race towards highlighted landing zones to catch balls launched into play, scoring points and competing on a leaderboard.

For UK players aged 13 and over, there is also a real-world reward available: a limited number of free batting sessions at HiTZ Cricket venues across England.

HiTZ Cricket gives players access to high-tech indoor batting nets, using ball-tracking cameras, video replay and post-net analysis to help players understand and improve their game. Sessions are designed to be simple to book, easy to access and suitable for players who want to train on their own terms.

This summer is a great moment to introduce more young people to cricket in a way that feels natural to them. The campaign connects the spaces where young people already play with a simple route into the real game: enjoy the challenge on Roblox, then come into a HiTZ venue, pick up a bat and experience a technology-led cricket session for yourself.
