Role Summary

We are looking for a commercially minded Growth Marketing Manager with strong performance marketing experience to support the Head of Marketing in driving site level trade performance across the UK HiTZ network.

A key focus of this role will be improving conversion and retention, and helping reduce customer acquisition cost by increasing the value we get from existing and prospective customers.

You will sit between central marketing strategy and venue level execution, helping each site grow through local campaigns, CRM, paid media, search, partnerships, launch activity, weekly trading actions and performance insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver venue growth plans that support new customer acquisition, utilisation, memberships, retention, customer lifetime value and revenue across each UK site.
  • Lead the analysis of weekly trade performance with the Head of Marketing, identifying the key venue opportunities, risks and actions to present into the weekly meetings.
  • Support repeatable new venue launches, including local marketing plans, pre launch awareness, lead generation, taster promotion, opening activations and post launch conversion.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver revenue driving campaigns across memberships, seasonal passes, local offers, game modes, customer retention and new product launches.
  • Own CRM performance as a key commercial channel, reviewing campaign performance, customer behaviour and journey logic on a regular basis, then adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Support paid media and search activity, ensuring campaigns are aligned with CRM, venue priorities, launch timelines, customer acquisition goals and commercial targets.
  • Work closely with regional activators, sales support and local partners to turn outreach, tasters and community activity into measurable customer growth.
  • Manage venue specific website updates, ensuring local pages are accurate, conversion focused and aligned with live campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance across new customers, sign ups, memberships, utilisation, revenue, churn, CAC, LTV and customer re engagement, using insight to shape future activity.
  • Create and brief marketing assets to support venue campaigns, launches, email, social, paid media, CRM, product marketing and local activations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Around 3 to 5 years of growth/performance marketing experience in sport, leisure, or fitness environments.
  • A commercially minded marketer who understands that modern marketing needs to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong CRM experience, with the ability to build, test and optimise customer journeys that improve conversion, retention, repeat booking behaviour and customer lifetime value.
  • Good understanding of paid media, search and digital performance, with the ability to connect acquisition to conversion and revenue outcomes.
  • Experience delivering campaigns that support customer acquisition, conversion, retention, customer lifetime value or revenue growth.
  • Confidence working with trade data, campaign reporting, CAC, LTV and trading insight.
  • Experience supporting local marketing activity, launches or community led campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple venues, campaigns and priorities at once.
  • A clear communicator and confident writer who can keep messaging on brand.
  • Comfortable creating or briefing basic visual assets using Adobe, Canva or similar tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast moving scale up environment where priorities can change quickly.

Why This Role Matters

HiTZ has proven customer demand, strong venue growth and increasing international momentum. The next stage is about building a more structured, commercially focused marketing function that can support growth at scale.

This role will be central to that. You will help move HiTZ from reactive campaign delivery to a more consistent growth model, where each site has clear actions across acquisition, utilisation, conversion, retention, CRM and revenue performance.
